My Story
Have you ever been in that dead end job, you know the one, you've been there for years and they will not move you because your good at what you do? That is were I was in December 2008, at the job 16 years and totally burned out. Yes it was a good job and yes the pay was great but I wasn't. The stress was killing me, literally. I was on 5 different medications dealing with anxiety, depression and a few other things all because of the stress. Until one day someone walks into the office with a Scentsy basket party. I had never heard of Scentsy. What is this product that smells so wonderful? I smelled them all, then the work day ended and I went home and searched Google for this great new product. I found the Scentsy Corp. website, read everything and thought this is a great company and only $99 to join, what have I got to lose, so I signed up to be a consultant. At the time I thought I will do this on the side to make a few extra dollars to get some little luxuries I had been wanting, get my product at a discount and enjoy all the wonderful scents in my home. I asked my friends and family if they wanted to have a party for me; “Of course they would”, all of them answered. So my journey began with just a few parties with friends and family, the next thing I know I'm having parties/basket parties with their friends and people are wanting to sell Scentsy and so my business takes off. January 2010 I quit my stressful real job to work my Scentsy business fulltime. I bought a new vehicle and a few more things with my Scentsy commissions. In June 2010 I was off all of my medication and stress free. No more anxiety or depression, a clean bill of health. I get to be home with my husband, meet friends and make new ones and live my life instead of working that dead end job. I've been with Scentsy 5 years now, and sponsor a terrific group under me and together we reach for the stars and our dreams. Scentsy has showed us that everything we wanted in life is possible.
